Also known as a Boosted page post, this is a post on a Facebook page promoted for more exposure. Such promotion generates more visibility and as a result, awareness of your brand. You can create a Facebook paid post by either setting it up in Ads Manager or by boosting it up from the Facebook Page. When you set up the post in Ads Manager, create a campaign — the objective should meet the goal of promoting your post. Then, when you choose creatives, select “Use Existing Post.”
To boost a post right from your page, go to your Facebook Page and click on the Boost button underneath. In the pop-up window, you will be able to select audiences, the ad placement, campaign duration, and budget.
